Sichuan Province
In Sichuan province, number of  spinning spindles has reached 3.2 million, production capacity of few chemical fiber dilun is over 0.2 million ton, capability of filature is 0.45 million thread, quantity of up-scale enterprises (registered capital over RMB5 million) increased 55% comparing with 2004.  In 2008, industry output value reached RMB50 billion, which is 23.6% growth comparing with the same period of last year, industrial added value RMB16 billion, 26.8% growth comparing with the same period of last year.  Output of major products including chemical fiber, textile yarns, raw silk, apparel has been doubled comparing with 2004...

Fujian Province
Textile industry of Fujian province has been developing in high-speed, industry structural system has been formed, composing chemical fiber, cotton, weaving, dyeing & printing, non-woven, industrial use textile products, household use textile products, apparel & accessories, textile machinery, etc.  The province's economic output of textile industry and position of nationwide key economic indicator has been jumped from No. 22 at the time of reform and opening policy implementation, to No. 5 right now...

Jiangxi Province
Up to 2008, there are 615 textile enterprises in Jiangxi province, among which 29 are state-owned and state-holding enterprises, 402 are private enterprises, 18 are foreign-invested enterprises.  Post industrial added value RMB12.2 billion, prime operating income RMB45 billion, profit and tax reached RMB2.3 billion (among which RMB1.23 billion is realized profit), 72.7 thousand people are in textile industry, which represent 5.25 %, 5.43%, 3.88% and 12.5% of the province’s overall industry respectively...

Xinjiang
According to statistics, in Jan–Nov 2008, textile industry of Xinjiang province has completed RMB3.262 billion on fixed capital investment, which is 79.86% growth comparing with the same period of last year.  Among which textile is RMB1.415 billion, apparel is RMB64 million, chemical fiber is RMB1.783 billion, which is –0.57%, –55.32% & 662.74% growth comparing with the same period of last year.  It is expected that investment will reach RMB3.4 billion by end of 2009, which will exceed the target set in 2008...
